I had a very productive start this week and because of the bank holiday weekend in the UK I managed to get a whole website up related to the hosting niche for my local city. Hoping to earn a few commissions from this just mainly to pay for my own hosting packages.

I got that website up in a few hours and signed up to twitter for it and got two posts up, Things went downhill from there! That’s all the work I have appeared to have done this week.

Lacking in motivation? no far from it I have been extremely busy in my day job so my evening road to success efforts haven’t gone to plan with me just feeling tired and wanting a laydown or being distracted and watching TV.

Also a big distraction this week was horse racing, I believe I spent and lost around about £150/$200 just on Friday/Saturday and I have been so good all week.

On Saturday I took steps to self-exclude myself for 5 years from all my online gambling accounts, this way I can concentrate on marketing rather than slamming on money on donkeys! Plus I can also start saving money or investing it wisely online.

Plans for this week coming (Week 4) will be to at least do 2-3 hours’ worth of work per day and on the weekend put at least £150 of my weekly wages away in savings.

Currently enjoying the sunny bank holiday weekend in England this week which has been pretty productive and successful.

The start of the week i listed over 30 items on ebay in a money making clearout! Yes its not making money via affiliate marketing but money is money! and seeing most items have sold and i have made over £100 i am happy.

In terms of online productivty i have gone back to a webhost that are simply i find the best – check them out here Evohosting.co.uk

Over the next week my plan is to get around 2-3 websites online ready to rank in google under certain keywords i have done research on over 2 different niches , The plan is not to start making money asap but slowly growing these websites so they rank in google well and set me up for a long term monthly income.

I am also saving up to start a social media website for my home town of Bristol more info on this soon!

I leave you this week with some pictures of my ebay items i have sold! I found some old subbuteo sets which are really old school! certainly made me some nice money.

Also starting this week i have decided to stop placing bets and gambling in general for a year to begin with i will achive this goal on 30/08/2011 and will report my weekly no gambling this week on the road to success posts.

I can say that at the moment  i am tired and overwhelmed of internet marketing, I have been struggling to make a full time income online since 2006 when i first read an online blog  that promised me i could make $1000 a day just by a touch of a button and opened my clickbank account.

I have had times that i was making over $3000 a week and times like the present where i haven’t made $1 in 3 months, I personally believe that over the past few years internet marketing and making money online has become a lot harder but i want to prove myself wrong.

I have a little experience; I know how to bang up good looking websites… this one isn’t bad right? , The only thing i don’t have is the full motivation sometimes! And that’s only because i haven’t got a blueprint to success yet a process to follow.

So here it is my process over the next year i will be giving a weekly update on this blog as i setup my blueprint on my road to success, If you have read my about me page you will know i don’t want to get rich i just want to get a steady stream of income so i can quit work and enjoy life.

I will be posting my clickbank screenshot weekly even if i have made nothing! Here is this weeks.

Depressing isn’t it? , So what have i been up to this week?

Well i have a number of domains that i have collected over the years so i have had a tidy out on go daddy and i am left with about 4 different domains that i feel i could make up a good looking website and market articles on.

I have also sat down and worked on my email address, I was on so many subscription lists it was unbelievable! So i unsubscribed from everything! That was 4 hours’ work! If anyone wants to email me then i am happy to discuss internet marketing and tips etc. my address is email@ianwilcox.com

On a weekly basis i will also be documenting my earning using usertesting.com and fiverr.com, these are two websites that top up my online income but vary depending on demand. I highly recommend them give it a try!
